Hey Hey! monterey media acquires exclusive distribution rights to the spunky 'tween coming-of-age comedy "Hey, Hey It's Esther Blueburger"

Thousand Oaks, CA November 13, 2009- monterey media inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Hey, Hey It's Esther Blueburger for all U.S. and Canadian distribution. A buzz-sensation at the recent Berlin International Film Festival, and a perfect fit for the underserved 'tween market, this coming-of-age comedy showcases an exceptional cast.

"Sometimes to fit in you need to stand out." is the theme and the 'tweens are on an unending quest to fit in as Esther Blueburger (Danielle Catazariti) escapes from her own Bat Mitzvah party and is befriended by Academy Award Nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes (Whale Rider; Star Wars: Episode III- Revenge of the Sith) as Sunni, the effortlessly cool girl who is everything Esther thinks she wants to be.
