monterey's Gamers heads to Comic-Con!

July 23, 2008 Thousand Oaks, CA- monterey media is thrilled to announce that Gamers, the outrageous comedy by Christopher Folino and starring William Katt, Kelly LeBrock, John Heard, Beverly D'Angelo, Kevin Sherwood and an array of up-and-coming talent from the comedy and improve world, will have a presence at this years Comic-Con in San Diego.

William Katt and Kevin Sherwood from Gamers along with director Christopher Folino will be at Comic-Con from Thursday to Sunday signing DVDs for fans.

Gamers is a side splittingly funny comedy about the lives of four slackers (and one obsessive interloper) living at home -"with my parents... it's just temporary... 'til they die" -, working in the real world but playing in a fantasy world. Obsessed with a role playing game called Demons, Nymphs and Dragons these "gamers" are the subject of this hilarious comedy which chronicles their journey to survive their horrendous lives while attempting to break the world record for role playing for over 74,558 hours.

The sacrifice, the obsession, the blind dedication & this is their true story. Comic-Con draws thousands of animation, science fiction and pop-culture enthusiasts from around the country each year. The convention, now in its 39th year, features special appearances, hundreds of exhibits, seminars, art shows, gaming, autograph-signing sessions, film screenings and a masquerade party. The sold out event runs July 24th through July 27th and is held at the San Diego Convention Center.
