The philosophy of doing good while doing well is practically a mantra at monterey media. The company directly supports a variety of charitable organizations, and throughout the growth of the video industry, a large focus has been on the AIDS initiatives and children’s education. Owner/Managing Partner Jere Rae-Mansfield has been on the Boards of both the Entertainment AIDS Alliance since its inception and on that of the Coalition for Quality Children’s Media/KIDS FIRST! ® for many years.
Indirectly, monterey’s team of distribution experts skillfully guide specialty theatrical assets into alternative distribution streams increasing our charitable supporter’s visibility and outreach. monterey’s charitable focus has increased toward more visible causes, most recently demonstrated by alliances with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Amnesty’s National Weekend of Faith in Action, Children’s Cancer Research Fund, the ACLU and Healthy Child, Healthy World. Ongoing educational and outreach programs are always underway via the film screenings and events for the film Nobelity with a targeted focus to preserve and ensure a healthy environmental legacy to leave our children and grandchildren.
