The Eye of the Dolphin "
May 1, 2007, THOUSAND OAKS, CA In an unprecedented move for monterey media, the independent studio has moved it's DVD release to October in order to accommodate the enthusiastically requested summer theatrical release of Eye of the Dolphin.
Carly Schroeder (soon to be seen in Gracie with David Beckham) won the Best Child Actor Award at the Int? l Family Film Festival where the film was also honored with the Best Drama Award. The film garnered much attention very recently at Tribeca and the Houston Film Festival where it won the Silver Award in the new Coming of Age category.
Eye of the Dolphin is the uplifting story of a troubled teenager (Carly Schroeder) coming of age through her relationship with a father she never knew (Adrian Dunbar- Richard III & Crying Game), a local with sage advice (George Harris, co-starring in the soon to be released Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) and a very special friend, a wild dolphin. With a clever script, this soul-searching journey has mass family appeal including humor, angst, love, environmental activism and stunning scenery.
